In case you missed it ...

If you missed Monday's school board meeting, TV Guide highlights let you know when you can catch a replay on the tube. Critics say this episode will make you want to buy Tivo.

Muscogee County School Board Meeting (Check your local cable listings for times) — Members of that wacky board are at it again. Just when you thought they were behaving like grownups, the Crown Prince (played by Philip Schley) reads from a prescription pad and tells the Turtle (played by Fife Whiteside) and the HomeBuilder (played by newcomer Cathy Williams) that he doesn't want to play with them anymore. They hurt his feelings when they said things they shouldn't have to the evil and wicked Wican of 12th Street (Kaffie Sledge). Before retreating into his shell, the redfaced Turtle says he's from Mississippi and he knows how to settle matters like this. The HomeBuilder, surprising everyone, suggests the old Firestone store on Macon Road as a site for a new administration building. "You can get your oil changed during board meetings," she says. The Prez (James Walker), who apparently wasn't listening, reopens the meeting in prayer, welcomes visitors and offers a free portable classroom to the first 25 people who can spell the word of the week: SPLOST. Finally, in an emotional moment, The Pope of Bartow (John Phillips) disregards the entire situation and reminds everyone that Columbus High's test scores are the best in town, that only players are allowed on the school's baseball field and closes by asking members if they have noticed his new suit.
