Questions about gas
Driving home from work on Thursday was an adventure. I was low on gas and looking for service. First it was $3.03 a gallon. Then $2.99. Finally I was able to fill up for $2.89 a gallon. How long, oh Lord?

How long...? Forever. Now that the money-grubbing oil companies have figured out that the American public will pay these high prices (like we have any real choice in the matter if we want to continue to effectively commute), they will NEVER substantially lower them!!
It's just like cigarettes. Even $4 a pack smokes don't make folks stop.
On a weekend jaunt to Huntsville, I saw regular gas for $3.27 a gallon in LaGrange. Going north, it was $2.95 a gallon in Gadsden. Go figure.
