Seeking Position

Columbus State University is seeking a new president and I'm retiring from the newspaper on Feb. 1. Sounds like a match to me. Dr. George Stanton and the search committee must not realize that I spent portions of 48 quarters on two college campuses. Guess I should hire Two Men and a Truck and have them haul my transcript and resume to CSU.

Or you could be the new MCSD superintendent!

I can't decide which position to accept. Both have things to offer. As CSU president you get free tickets to the basketball games and you always have that clock on the tower to tell you what time it is. As school superintendent, you'll have a penthouse office overlooking Macon Road and you get to hang out with a fun group of board members.

Come on, folks. Tell me which job you think is best.

why not just retire and have a good time?

I should but making $250K a year as superintendent is tempting.
