Tickets at Carmike

Read Brad Barnes' column in Tuesday's Ledger-Enquirer. He says Carmike Theaters is raising the price of its movie tickets in Columbus. The base-line price of $8.25 will go up to $9 a pop.

Maybe that means Carmike will be able to hire some people to clean up its theaters and more people to man their concession stands. If they don't do something, owner Mike Patrick ought to be forced to sleep on the sticky floors of his theaters.
