Candy didn't stand a ghost of a chance

Columbus schools celebrated Halloween on Wednesday and one third grader was concerned.

"I don't do Halloween," she said after the teacher gave an assignment to look up words connected to the celebration.

Given something else to do, the child went back to her desk. It wasn't long before she pointed out the same thing to the teacher.

"I don't do Halloween," she repeated.

Then came time to hand out candy. And this time the little girl did Halloween.
